Welcome!

"Being a mother is learning about strengths you didn't know you had, and dealing with fears you didn't know existed." -Linda Wooten

About Me

I am a 33 year old daughter of the King, wife to Chris and mother to Nevaeh & Lillian. I also spend (at least) 40 hours of my week as a Medical Education Coordinator to 22 Internal Medicine residents and 4 Gastroenterology fellows.
I am a "closet writer", multi-tasking introvert, with sometimes self-esteem issues who is just desperately clinging to the cloak of Jesus as I am walking this journey of marriage, motherhood and ministry. Yeah...life!
I have been on both ends of the mothering spectrum - "stay at home mom" and "working outside of the home mom". (note: there will be no use of the term "working mom". As a one time SAHM I understand that all "good" mothers are working hard. We all WORK.)
It has been my experience that while there are TONS of sites and blogs out there to reach mothers who are Stay at Home moms - I found very little resources that were directed toward the mom who works outside of the home. While the work load is different in both of these worlds - I have learned that the struggles and difficulties you face in both environments is also different. So, while I hope EVERY mom who comes across my blog may find encouragement and comfort here - I want the moms who work outside of the home to know...I get it. I know what you are going through. I understand the hurt, regret and guilt (and sometimes relief) that often plagues you as you leave your children to go to a job in the workplace. I'm with you. More than that - I am praying for you. And for all you other ladies - who may not be moms yet - or may find yourself in a different season of life - please know I am so glad you are here. Please join in the conversation with us!! Welcome!!
